The Information Services Lead Project Manager is responsible for overall planning, coordination, execution, delivery and completion of all projects on time and within budget for our European commercial business.

The overall planning, coordination, execution, delivery and completion of all assigned projects on time and within budget. This role will support key projects in Information Services for Stryker globally with an emphasis on Europe. Essential responsibilities include:

  • Lead facilitation of project decisions with key stakeholders, with ability to influence outcomes.
  • Lead the project ensuring delivery on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • develop comprehensive risk management plan with mitigation strategies that may impact project cost, quality, scope or schedule.
  • Manage change requests. Assess impact to scope, schedule and cost and communicate with key Stakeholders.
  • Develop a detailed project plan defining project tasks and resource requirements.
  • Liaise with resource managers to ensure resources are available to support the timelines within the project schedule.
  • Provide peer coaching opportunities for team members.
  • Monitor and report on project status to all stakeholders. Escalate issues and risks as required.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Review and approve time cards associated with your project.
  • Create Capital Expenditure Request, monitor and report on project financials.
  • Submit at minimum one status report per month.
  • Liaise with supplier management on vendor quality, experience and cost.
  • Partner with the project team to ensure compliance with regulations, policies, standards, procedures, and associated documentation including but not limited to computer systems validation, SOX, and PM standards.

Education & Special Trainings:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • PMP or Prince2 certification required.
  • Investment in continued education desired.
  • Knowledge of Lean and ITIL desired.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience is required.
  • Proven record of managing successful projects. Experience leading successful large projects with remote team members.
  • Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Project preferred.
  • Preferable experience with Salesforce.com and affiliated systems.
  • Ability to understand, analyze and report on financial data.
  • Proven ability to build team cohesion and motivate people.
  • Proven ability to lead a large-scale project from recovery to successful completion.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with Senior Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to confidently challenge others at a level of informed understanding.
  • Proven ability to guide change and influence decision making.
  • Willingness and ability to coach other Project Managers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and organized with a strong desire to succeed.
