The Senior Education Manager will be the principal architect responsible for the design, implementation, and evaluation of programmes that facilitate continuous employee and customer learning, including at the leadership, professional and functional level.

Key Responsibilities

Strategically define the direction of future learning for the division, informed by a deep understanding of the current state of learning programmes and relevant best in class practices being implemented in the medical industry.

Key Activities

•Evaluate existing programmes for impact and alignment with divisional needs. •Provide recommendations for learning experiences that increase reach, impact, and future capability requirements. •Design and deliver exceptional, engaging learning experiences ranging from core product focus, to tactical executional sales training philosophies. •Leverage knowledge of cutting-edge learning and development tools. Define metrics for successful evaluation of programmes around audience needs and relevant business priorities.•Identify, develop, lead and manage key external customer KOL’s.•Foster greater design and delivery innovation, while maximizing efficiency by acting as a thought leader on ground-breaking, relevant learning industry trends.•Developing and deploying return on investment (ROI) metrics, which will be tracked to ensure impact of educational activities in the division •Ensures that educational activities across EMEA markets are coordinated and cohesive, helping to drive agreed goals and strategies.•May have responsibility for clinical research in collaboration with Brand Management•Lead and Mentor team of more junior Education Managers (and/or others),  as well as  provide or ensure continuous training and development of the team•Act as a role model for global organizational, social and moral values•70% Business Travel•

Qualifications/ Tenure:

•Bachelor’s Degree required, preferred Master’s Degree in Human Resources or related field. •Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in sales/ marketing experience.•Minimum 7 years of learning & development experience including face to face training, virtual training and facilitation roles.

Experience/ Skills:

•Previous management experience supervising high performance teams. •Experience working cross-culturally with diverse colleagues in a global environment. •Previous experience analysing customer needs, setting and managing expectations and influencing decisions.  •Must have the ability to document and communicate project plans, monitor work in progress, and achieve project milestones/end results.
