Description de l'offre

Plans, directs and coordinates the manufacturing, distribution, purchasing, planning, manufacturing engineering and maintenance activities of a manufacturing site. Ensures that products are produced in accordance with quality, service level, cost and safety objectives and regulatory standards. 

Responsibilities and duties

• Assures compliance to all regulatory, quality and safety requirements / standards within the site.

• Assures Quality of products / processes in Operations and corrective action if necessary

• Develops strategic plans for production based on demand, equipment, material and staffing availability.

• Develops and/or ensures implementation of projects and/or programs to attain GQO goals.

• Develops and oversees Operations budgets, including recommendations on capital expenditures.

• Assures compliance to all applicable procedures and work instructions.

• Leads directly and/or through subordinates, the activities of the Operations team.

• Directly participates in the recruiting and selection of Operations team members.

• Plans, participates in and/or coordinates the training of personnel in the Operations team.

• Establishes goals and objectives for team and evaluates performance based on those goals & objectives.

• Develops and implements plans to increase employee engagement throughout the site.

• Leads, coaches, develops and cross trains members of the site Operations team.

• Completes semi-annual talent reviews and annual performance reviews for all direct reports

• Interacts, electronically and in person, with GQO Leadership, Divisions and suppliers.

• Submits periodic reports, in writing and in person, to appropriate personnel.

Qualifications/Work Experience Preferred

• Must be able to analyze and resolve complex issues of a broad scope using independent judgment

• Must be able to prioritize work and keep accurate, detailed and confidential records

• Must be able to understand and work within complex quality systems and schedules

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

• Demonstrate the understanding of talent selection criteria/process.

• Demonstrated understands shop floor management system.

• Demonstrated understanding of continuous improvement and team problem solving

• 10+ years related manufacturing leadership experience.

Travel Percentage: Up to 25%
