This is a critical role in our communications team, bridging the gap between Marketing and IT. We are looking for someone that is passionate about technology and has a knack for integrating and launching new platforms and content to both our internal teams and our external customers. This position will oversee the day-to-day management of our Medical division’s content on and act as an advisor and innovator to utilize our existing platforms in the most engaging way. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholder groups within a decentralized organizational structure to shape, inform and execute a communications strategy to help achieve business goals.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute all company/division-wide website-related projects including, but not limited to:  development, restructuring and/or refinements on various platforms, sales enablement platform launch,, digital program integration, mobile apps and email marketing platforms.
  • Own content management and approval process cradle to grave through MRM, partnering with Marketing Communications and Marketing in Medical’s business units.
  • Drive launch of Marketing Resource Management (MRM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems including content and asset migration.
  • Key business contact on all division-wide app projects, including creating, managing and optimizing mobile applications such as Fleet Assessment.
  • Ensure web content is optimized for SEM.
  • Develop and execute intranet strategy to move to the Medical division content to Corporate’s 2.0 Connect platform.
  • Create plan for decommissioning existing microsites based on global, implementation plan.
  • Develop analytics processes and reporting to analyze performance, where applicable, and generate business insights.
  • Drive a strong collaborative partnership between Medical division and IS, advocating business needs and driving projects forward through strong digital understanding.
  • Align with company-wide digital strategy and grow relationships with cross-divisional and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ensure all work complies with company brand guidelines.

Education and special training

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with emphasis in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communications preferred.
  • Experience working with CMS platforms and building in Adobe Experience Manager strongly preferred.

Qualifications and experience

  • Commitment to Stryker’s values, beliefs and principles; an individual with the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
  • At least five years of work experience required, with a preference of experience in Information Technology or Digital Marketing.
  • Exposure to AEM Sites 6.4 preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite a plus.
  • Knowledge of working in agile, rapid development and prototyping environment.
  • Experience working in a decentralized environment a plus.
