What you will do-

  • Collaborates with CMF buyer and suppliers to assure the continuity of supply. Monitors supplier performance and supports efforts to develop and implement delivery improvement as well as forecasts. Follows up with suppliers on supply deviations and ensures that solutions are identified and implemented
  • This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and will be supported by the existing divisional buyer
  • Plans, schedules and monitors inbound movement of materials from suppliers. Determines material requirements and coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering. Develops specifications for new contract orders

Primary roles/responsibilities:

  • Monitors backordered items for the division and follows up with buyer and suppliers to recover supply of product
  • Identify through reports issues such as missed receipts and held products in SAP and work with the buyer, suppliers and warehouses to correct.
  • Generate reports and documents results for compliance measurement
  • Participating in monthly reviews with buyer and suppliers generating and adjusting forecasts 
  • Safety stock evaluation
  • Supplier report card generation
  • Administrative entry into SAP for new products along with existing data maintenance
  • Will help with various supply chain activities as needed/time permits

What you need-

  • BA/BS in Business Management, Logistics/Supply Chain
  • Prior experience in a supply chain role strongly preferred
  • ERP experience (Oracle, SAP, PRMS, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated effective organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
