The Job’s Mission

As a Warehouse Distribution Supervisor, you will represent Stryker as a leader in our industry, being primarily responsible for implementing a world class logistics and customer care operation by sharing best practices and identifying appropriate benchmarks that drive efficiency and productivity. You will support the customer logistics strategy by performing detailed operational reviews of processes and procedures to determine performance objectives are met by the department. You will also be required to participate in projects to improve the European Stryker Customer Logistics function. increasing customer satisfaction, efficiency and lower costs whilst ensuring budgets are met. 

You will be office based in the Istanbul however travel to other sites will be required.
 

Key Activities & Accountabilities

  • Manage, coach and develop your team and offer support where required
  • Drive cost and inventory down, whilst being focused on ROI of consignment business, free stock and process optimisation
  • You will ensure compliance, SOX, FCPA and quality policies are implemented
  • Produce management information relating to KPI’s and objectives
  • Manage your team efficiently, ensuring that the best talent is sourced, developed and lead to be highly motivated to exceed business expectations.
  • Continuously increasing customer satisfaction, efficiency and lowering costs whilst ensuring budgets are met
  • Provide periodical reports to customers
  • Offer support for the integration process of new products 
     

Education

  • University degree in Business/Logistics Discipline or equivalent
  • Project Management or Finance Qualifications (desirable)
  • Fluent in speaking English
     

Experience

  • Business process analysis
  • Strong people management, coaching and developing a team
  • Logistics/Warehousing management
  • Medical Device markets desirable
  • Working knowledge of health and safety
