This role will lead the development and management of the Business partnership function for GQO Functions for the global IS organization.  Partner and collaborate with the Group President of GQO and his Leadership team, Corporate leadership, Other GIOs, Finance and Infrastructure to help drive financial goals, customer satisfaction and overall alignment, governance and viability of IS strategy.  Align with Stryker and IS strategy, achieve outlined targets, and follow operational procedures and maintain accountability for program, financials and SLAs to the business. 

  • Accountable for execution of all the components of the functional architecture across the GQO business internationally as well the Corporate Functions
  • Responsible for team leadership, budget and deliverables of divisional IS programs
  • Responsible for information demand rationalization for the Group needs to ensure integrity of business vision and strategy especially when conflicts in priorities occur in geographies from business divisions and geographic, cluster and site alignment
  • Acts as a member/liaison of the information systems governance group within the business
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive information strategy
  • Strategically supports Stryker’s reporting and analytical needs
  • Represent individual BUs in IS initiatives
  • Be a domain expert and business consultant especially in the Operations world
  • Lead a team of Sr. Director, Corporate Functions IS, IS Directors of Operations Clusters, Supply Chain, Logistics, Forecasting and QA to drive strategic alignment and portfolio results
  • Be an agent of transformation in the Order-to-cash area of ERP by working broadly across the organization
  • Support core business processes by providing required inputs, information, and tools. Work broadly within the organization
  • Interact with peers to ensure a smooth integration of the processes/unit output with the rest of the IS environment
  • Liaise with other IS stakeholders in project management, architecture, governance to ensure alignment
  • Coach IT Directors, domain Thought Leaders and Application Specialists involved within the implementation project
  • Communicate on projects by issuing regular status updates, and managing communication with key Account Managers, IS team and Business people
  • Working with IS leaders, conduct market research and observations across all concerned specialist areas when necessary
  • Secure high business and IS acumen by attending any necessary training sessions.
  • Ensure the compliance of global IS services processes
  • Ensure that IS systems and processes operate efficiently and within established KPIs
  • Provide applications team with functional support to secure compliance with SLA and high customer satisfaction
  • Provide infrastructure team with input on business applications needs within the application domain
  • Understand Business Requirements and finalize Functional Specifications
  • Perform other duties as directed
