The Job's Mission 

The Territory Manager is responsible for the supervision of the assigned sales district and respective sales/turnover. The Territory Manager optimizes customer service and increases the acquisition of new customers. In addition, he/she is an operational manager responsible for the quality of service provided to main customers after product implementation. Works closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction through the awareness and ongoing development of work processes. This Territory Manager will be responsible for our Endoscopy product portfolio covering Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna region.

Your key responsibilities

  • Planning, executing and monitoring of all measures necessary to guarantee achieving budget
  • Acquisition of new customers
  • Implement national strategy in terms of referrals program, education, marketing in collaboration with Regional Sales Manager, Business Unit Director and Product Manager
  • Optimize resources and responsibility for the running a profitable business in the assigned area
  • The development and engagement of the assigned sales team
  • Coordination of the distribution and logistics of the product (LTC, STC, Demo)
  • Support the sales force for customer care activity related to physicians, surgical/theatre staff and hospital administration with the goal of achieving qualitative and sales-oriented consultation
  • Support, promotions, presentations, launching of product inside and outside the Operating Room
  • Coordination of the internal tender process and responsibility of related technical and economical documentation.
  • Be responsible of the accuracy of the forecast and prepare on a regular basis business review to be shared with manager, supporting targeting allocation
  • Close collaboration and supervising agents/distributor activity
  • Takes the accountability of the KOLs and address different stakeholders
  • Conducting price negotiations and contractual preparation within the limits of in-house guidelines, up to contract conclusion

What are we looking for?

  • Degree in sciences, business administration, economics or similar, education/training in a medical, scientific, technical area
  • Proven success in sales, sales attitude
  • Ideally Medical device experience and experience working with indirect channels
  • In depth understanding and knowledge of national legal, regulatory and compliance rules and regulations preferable
  • Service orientation & Business thinking attitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to influence, persuade, engage and win others over
  • Ambitious, self-driven, winning personality
  • Ability to work under pressure, highly organized with an ability to multi task
  • Fluent in Italian, very good written and spoken English

Travel Percentage: Up to 75%
