Your key responsibilities

  • Responsible for coordinating and managing the response and submission of all tenders and Request for Proposal (including framework offerings) across multiple franchises. Responsible for developing bid text and content for response to tenders.  
  • Bid project management of all aspects of the bid response including coordination activities for pricing.
  • Support in the development and maintenance of the Tender Library and standard collateral
  • Administration and management of all Framework pricing and Trust bands
  • Supports with the implementation and development of tender and contract tools and templates
  • Delivers continuous improvement of all tools and processes relating to tender management and processes
  • Offer contract management and pricing insights to Stryker franchises in relation to existing contracts and associated customer usage. 
  • Support in creating and utilizing tools for Commercial Analysis
  • Management of tender responses in accordance with Stryker tender response SOP.
  • Engagement with Sales Teams and other Stryker enabling functions to drive the development of high quality bid responses.
  • Develop and continuously improve tools and systems for effective tender and contract management
  • Supports with pricing administration on CRM system.
  • Supports sales teams with tender/contract related queries and offer contract/commercial insights to franchises
  • Management Reporting/Analysis – prepare quarterly/monthly reports for tenders and contracts. Review spend analysis (contract versus non-contract and rebate calculations)
  • Ability to provide support the Commercial Services Manager on special projects and tasks.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in a similar sales support role / Tender Management role
  • NHS Procurement processes knowledge desirable but not essential
  • Experience in tender management within medical devices arena will be an advantage
  • Can-do attitude and willing to learn/develop
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and strong writing/bid text authoring skills
  • Proficient at using Microsoft Excel and managing large volume of data
  • Highly disciplined individual who can work to deadlines
  • Highly organized
  • Articulate and numerical.
  • Team player – diplomatic but also focused on hitting deadlines in high pressure environment

  • Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Sales Analytics tool (Danube), Oracle and Tender Eyes

Travel Percentage: Up to 25%
