Task and Responsibilities

  • Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors​ (includes but is not limited to cycle counting all consignment and branch inventories; researching shipping discrepancies)
  • Prepare products, supplies, equipment, or other items, shipment confirmation, and hospital placement.
  • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner​​​ (includes but is not limiting to staging, QA, QA expired, and inventory offices )
  • Request updated customer consignment agreement forms annually and as consignment inventory is adjusted with hospital staff and/or sales representative
  • Work with branch management and sales to optimize inventory levels and utilization
  • Implement and support Quality initiatives throughout the branch.​ (includes but not limited to holding material review board meetings; managing product actions; managing non-conformance product )
  • Implement and educate branch staff on Stryker procedures and branch-wide best practices to maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system​ (includes but not limited to the OPEN lot code process; the identification; removal, and destruction of expired product; counting inventory; transferring inventory)
  • Carry out inventory projects and keep management informed of progress from start to finish.​ (includes but not limited to managing hospital owned product exchanges, consignment increases, managing trauma inventory agreement process, managing ​IOC process)

Travel expected up to 75%

Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver’s license with good driving record.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of principles and methods for product or order fulfillment. This includes situational needs assessment, product usage, and inventory control systems and processes.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mathematics and their applications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
  • 1+ year Warehouse/Inventory Control experience in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated phone skills; ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated computer skills (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Access, ERP, and Word).
  • Must have the ability to work flexible hours, as needed to support the business needs, including weekend and evening call as needed.
  • Must be able and willing to work successfully in a team environment.
  • Must have the ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • High School diploma; prefer Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience
