What you will do

Stryker is a brand that stands for quality, and we take pride in proactively building quality into our products. As a Staff Metrology Specialist, you will support Quality Operations from receipt of raw materials through production. Specifically, you will:

  • Develop and execute standard processes, product protocols, and author technical documents including test protocols, reports, and engineering studies.
  • Ensure calibrated components meet regulatory standards.
  • Support internal audits and may support external audits.
  • Participate in procedure updates and changes.
  • Work with support functions, i.e. engineering, to develop calibration standards.
  • SME for specific process, product, and / or area.
  • Train others on calibration standards, equipment, and procedures.
  • Properly handle out of tolerance (OOT) including disposition and documentation.                                                                                             
  • Originate nonconformance records within Trackwise and document root cause investigations following 4D methodology and determining effective Corrective / Preventative Actions.

What you need

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in a science, engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years related working experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS, CQE, CCT preferred.
  • Six Sigma Green or Black belt preferred.
