What You Will Do

As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for delivering one of our division's flagship products. You will own a product that acts as the information hub for Operating Rooms around the world and plays a critical role in accomplishing Stryker’s mission: Together with our customers, we are driven to make healthcare better.

You will deliver new technology and features to our customers.  The modern Operating Room can be a complicated place full of technology, and you will ensure that technology works together smoothly so doctors and staff can keep their focus on their patients instead of their equipment.  You will also deliver new features that process video and data in real time, helping to increase the odds that each surgery has a positive outcome.

Your work will occasionally include hardware and accessories, but your primary focus will be software.  Close to 100 team members will support your project, and many of them will be organized into Agile Scrum teams located throughout the world.

  • You will develop business processes needed to make the project a success.
  • You will manage and inform stakeholders.
  • You will ensure a positive return on investment.
  • You will lead a cross-functional team and ensure all technical and business requirements are met.


What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in related field or equivalent. 
  • Successful track record of bringing new products to market.
  • Prior project management experience over software development efforts.
  • Experience with Agile software development.
  • Ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to bring together multiple functions (R&D, Marketing, Quality, Operations, etc.) as a cohesive team
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Degree or background that allows you to understand engineering problems and trade-offs.
  • Preferred: Experience at a medical device company.
