This is a terrific opportunity to join Accelerate, Stryker’s largest transformational ERP program to date, impacting the entire organization. Not only are we implementing SAP, we are changing the way we do business across the organization.

Accelerate’s Senior Technical Solution Architect - IS ERP will work with Global IS to evaluate, design, deploy and support SAP solutions, databases, analytics and related tools. The Senior Technical Solution Architect - IS ERP will be responsible for establishing and promoting technology standards as well as implementation, upgrades and management of software and related infrastructure. This position will be the subject matter expert for SAP and HANA solutions and coordinate related activities with various technology, application and various Process and Operation teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Define, implement, enhance and govern Technical Architecture strategy for Accelerate ERP platforms including, but not limited to: Accelerate system landscape and environment management; SAP transport management strategy; SAP transport management strategy; Security Architecture (SSO, IAM, SSL, etc.); End-to-End Integration Architecture; SAP upgrade and maintenance strategy; data archiving strategy; audit management.
  • Implement SAP Solution Manager components to enhance Stryker SAP operations – CHARM, Business Process Monitoring, etc.
  • Provide leadership, knowledge transfer, and mentoring to delivery teams on Technical Architecture principles and concepts.
  • Ensure proper and effective reuse of application and technical services, frameworks, and standard tools/templates in proposed solutions.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, monitoring, and optimization of all SAP landscapes and other dependent technologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive Innovation in SAP by exploring and evaluating emerging technologies in SAP like Conversational AI, Machine Learning, RPA, Predictive analytics using SAP Leonardo.
  • Provide leadership in troubleshooting and resolving complex, highly integrated, technical issues.
  • Act as a liaison between Stryker Enterprise Architecture and Accelerate.

Education:

  • Requires a BS or MS degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 10 or more years of related work experience, including solid exposure to SAP technical architecture. SAP basis, security, development and integration experience is required.
  • Expert level knowledge of SAP technologies and related tools and systems development methods.
  • Broad experience supporting software applications and infrastructure.
  • SAP software modules and deep understanding of Basis technologies.
  • Key expertise in SAP S/4 HANA, Process integration (PI), Java administration, SSO, BW4/HANA, BODS,Solution Manager, Fiori and BOBJ BI Platform.
  • Database and middleware infrastructure experience including HANA implementation.
  • Excellent communications skills, including communication across Global teams.
  • Must be able to take initiative.
  • Skilled at problem-solving and navigating change.
  • Must have high technical aptitude.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, with strong influencing and relationship management capabilities.
  • Positive and energetic team member.
