Stryker is one of the world's leading medical technology companies and, together with its customers, is driven to make healthcare better.  We are currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer to oversee manufacturing transfer projects for the assembly of electro-mechanical devices.

Advanced Operations is leading the creation of a global team dedicated to achieving excellence in Manufacturing Transfer (MT) This role will support our Manufacturing Transfer team  being a Key Enabler of transformation delivering on “cost out” opportunities to become a global competitive advantage.

Location:  Fort Lauderdale, Florida

What you will do

Be a Senior Process engineer in one of the most exciting and successful areas at Stryker Robotics! Be part of the development and introduction of new products and work extensively with Product Development, Quality and Manufacturing Operations to take a product from design concept through production ramp up.

Specific responsibilities of the Sr. Process Engineer include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop manufacturing processes for the assembly of electromechanical devices
  • Select and develop suppliers that will understand and comply with our requirements.
  • Utilize design transfer tools such as Process Flow chart, Process FMEA, Control Plan, Measurement System Analysis and Process Validation

What you need

Ideal candidates will possess the following skills/experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Systems Engineering
  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role
  • Experience with assembly of electromechanical devices is REQUIRED
  • Proven ability to effectively work in a fast paced, dynamic and results oriented team environment
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills - able to express ideas and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience in executing complex problem-solving techniques related to technical manufacturing and design issues.
