We are looking to hire a Senior Franchise Manager to partner with the EEMEA Leadership Team, Central Marketing Team and Regional Marketing Teams to enhance our market share, reputation and awareness of our Spine portfolio within the EEMEA region. This is a Senior level role covering our EEMEA region, in particular Russia, Turkey, Middle East as well as North and South Africa. This role will therefore require significant travel as well as time spent in the UK where much of the Leadership team for this region are based. For this role you will need to be able to accommodate around 50% travel. Your key activities and focus will be:

Portfolio Management:

  • Prepare & implement the roll out of region specific franchise for the key markets within EEMEA in line with the Franchise Strategy
  • Work with the Regional Product Managers to implement the roll out of region specific franchise strategies for the key markets within EEMEA
  • Align regional tactics & with corporate PLCM strategy
  • Actively manage & assist pricing & margin management across all regions
  • Orchestrate coordinated product launches in country
  • Provide support for the long term franchise product plans for the key regions in EEMEA
  • Provide technical expertise with respect to specified product area. This includes product knowledge, sales volume and trends, cost and margin information.
  • Partner with RAQA for product launch plans

Marketing Budget Responsibility:

  • Responsible allocation of financial resource across EEMEA
  • Manage investment in focus countries
  • Allocate & manage the inventory and demonstration equipment

KOL Management:

  • Take the lead in developing EEMEA KOL’s for the franchise
  • Understand & feedback on key customer trends & competition trends
  • Coordinate the HCP academy plans & execute in line with the power brand strategy

Product Management Coordination:

  • Provide bi-monthly communication with the local PM’s & sales support teams in the focus countries
  • Facilitate the annual product planning process for the franchise
  • Establish relationship with the Global Marketing Department and produce reports on request and forward any territory information regarding Stryker products in the division
  • Develop relevant skills and knowledge by attending courses or make sure the needed knowledge is retained within the company
  • Update on legal changes and or requirement on an ongoing basis

Professional Education:

  • Work with EEMEA Education Coordinators to manage the external educational offering across franchise and to ensure this offering is in line with marketing plan and marketing budget.
  • Prepare EEMEA KOL contracts in conjunction with compliance officers for EEMEA events
  • Plan conduct and manage EEMEA professional education courses

Academic qualifications / degree & relevant prior experience:

  • Key strengths / personal attributes for the role:
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, (training design/delivery) or related discipline advantageous
  • Experience in sales training, surgical training or project management with clear progression in terms of responsibilities and scope of roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in KOL management.
  • Demonstrable leadership qualities.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking abilities
  • Ability to interact, influence and partner with sales and marketing groups across countries and cultures.
  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Ability to move others to take action
  • High level of trust and integrity
  • Hands-on ability to implement swiftly and effectively by taking ownership and accepting responsibility.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.
