What you will do:

In this role you will liaison with New Product Development and Information Services to:

  • Align technical solutions to meet business needs
  • Identify commercial and technical requirements to refine business systems and processes
  • Elicit and document requirements from users, including both the explicit and implicit inputs to search out un-articulated needs and translate this into business information and governance.

 In addition to what is above, as a business analyst, you will be a change agent who will:

  • Build and foster relationships with business users, stakeholders and partners – get to know the team so you can understand their roles and key drivers for success
  • Effectively influence business sponsors, challenging them as appropriate - we want to hear your opinions as you collaborate closely with local IS business partners and global IS architects
  • Be the change for the organization! You will identify and coordinate transitions and drive change management, helping the business learn and adopt new processes or work flows
  • As part of change management, you will participate in and coordinate testing of business systems and processes. 
  • Along with your team you will align business needs to existing IS portfolio solutions
  • We want you to pitch in, so at times you will assist technical support in troubleshooting systems
  • Data is important, you will ensure data integrity within business systems and root cause errors
  • Let’s continue improving – you will retrospect, capture lessons learned and implement best practices
  • Let’s keep the work on track and prioritize.  You will maintain a project plan, provide program risk assessment and ensure mitigation plans are identified and communicated
  • Aside from product and process documentation, you will also provide accurate project estimates, track and report your progress daily to R&D, IS and Project leaders

Some of the Required Skills we feel you need to have:

  • Proficiency working between complex IT systems, preferably ERP experience
  • Willingness to dedicate whatever time is necessary to learn business processes/applications.
  • Process mapping experience
  • Experience documenting complex processes and presenting clearly in an understandable format
  • Experience understanding, evaluating, prioritizing and guiding business processes change

Don’t forget these Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in related field or equivalent
  • 5-10 years related ERP experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The skills below are a nice to have, so if you come with them GREAT, if not, let’s see your passion to learn and grow!

  • ERP experience, preferably SAP, we are willing to consider Oracle experience
  • Strong knowledge of databases
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies – SCRUM, LEAN
  • Understanding of product life cycle management
  • Knowledge of medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry and basic knowledge of adjacent areas in terms of processes, organization, products and IS requirements
