The Job's Mission

You will manage a sales territory with responsibilities to maintain and develop Stryker‘s business with existing and new customers in line with the Sales Manager’s guidelines in the defined sales territory while meeting or exceeding financial and non-financial targets, in a way that enhances Stryker‘s reputation in the market. You are responsible for the representation and sales of all Stryker Medical products. As a Sales Representative you love living in the fast lane and find purpose in selling Stryker products that are making healthcare better. This role would suit someone who is happy with lots of travel and who enjoys the challenge of dealing with new customers on a weekly basis.

Key Activities & Accountabilities

As a Sales Representative within the Stryker Medical division.

  • Developing and implementing individual sales activities to achieve the sales budget and profitability.
  • You are to strategically promote and sell Stryker’s Medical portfolio which includes, all Medical Products, to meet our customers’ needs, providing forecasts to your Regional Manager, while pushing yourself to exceed each goal
  • Supporting the Sales Manager in developing activities and sales plan in accordance with the local strategy and identifying needs, trends and development opportunities specific for a given market.
  • Analyzing the market potential and assessing the profitability of current and potential customers.
  • Presenting products to new / potential customers and providing them with support according to their needs.
  • Planning and conducting appropriate training, workshops, symposia, conferences, etc. in a given region.
  • Proactive search for feedback from customers in order to improve service quality and expand the business portfolio.
  • Assessment of competition threats and implementation of proactive tactical actions.
  • Your geography in this role would be Inland Territories (Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Free State.)

Education

  • Educated to degree level, experience working within a healthcare related field.
  • Preferably training in a medical, scientific, technical career or degree in sciences, economics or the like

Experience

  • 2-3 years of sales experience would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication/presentation skills and able to influence decision makers and thought leaders
  • Excellent written and oral skills in English
