Join Stryker's largest transformational program and be part of the team that is preparing for each deployment. You would be highly visible in this role, working with top leaders of our divisions as well as our systems team, ensuring success.

You will be responsible for providing program management support for ERP deployment across specified business and will:

  • Participate as an active member of the Release Team; ensuring team alignment to overall ERP Global Program.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project plan defining project tasks and resource requirements for Release Team efforts
  • Coordinate and collaborate with all the Global ERP Program Project Managers and Solution Delivery Leads to ensure all dependencies are identified and managed in the overall program schedule
  • Proactive risk and issues management.  Includes the identification, assessment, and prioritization of all program risks combined with the discipline to minimize, monitor, and control the probability and/or impact of the identified risk. 
  • Management of all Release Team issues and risks in the consolidated register.  Timely escalation and mitigation of issues and risks to ensure program remains on track, on-time, on-budget, within defined scope.
  • Manage scope of process area through change requests.  Assess impact to scope, schedule and cost and communicate with key stakeholders. Strong adherence to scope control.
  • Support the management and coordination on all aspects of our strategic partners and technology vendors as part of our delivery model
  • Ensure all Release Team tasks are completed on time
  • Monitor and report on Release Team project status and financials to all stakeholders
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Review and approve time cards associated with your project
  • Partner with the Release Team, IS Governance and ERP Program PMO to ensure compliance with regulations, policies, standards, procedures, and associated documentation including but not limited to computer systems validation, SOX, and PM standards
  • Support program guiding principles; drive harmonized industry-best practice process across all divisions and geographies allowing minor configurations (as necessary) with no customizations

You should have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Minimum 10+ years of professional experience is required
  • A proven record of managing successful projects. Experience leading successful large projects across multiple functions and locations  
  • Ability to consider upstream and downstream scheduling and process impacts and implications
  • Exhibits acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skillsets
  • Experienced in ERP Methodologies preferably both traditional waterfall as well more agile approaches
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with Senior Management
  • International experience and/or exposure working in other business functions preferred
  • Knowledge of Lean, ITIL, PPM, PMO, etc. standards and processes
  • Must be able to generate, explain, and present detailed schedules, objectives, reports, and other documentation accurately
  • Aligned with program goals and principles
  • Ability to build trusting relationships and gain respect from executives and well as business and own team members
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills to a diverse set of audiences

  Please note that Accelerate is a unique program within Stryker and the level of the position could flex up or down for internal candidates, based on experience. While Kalamazoo, MI and San Jose, CA are our preferred sites for this role, we are open to employees sat other Stryker locations.
