What you will do

This position will be extremely strategic to reach our growth main projects in Brazil supporting the sales area.

Develop the Instruments business in Brazil through establishments and implementation of product strategies aligned with the company's growth pillars.

Ensured the products are marketed throughout the country within defined budget objectives, with a focus on maximizing profitability and increasing order volume, working closely with sales managers and corresponding sales channels.


1. Marketing

  • Emphasis on excellence in the execution of activities for the market by building short and long term goals. The main activities include the execution of business plans, presentations / trainings, commercial proposals, communication with clients, coordination of events, fairs and key activity developments to overcome the Division sales and achieve profitability goals;
  • Develop sales funnel and build a robust data analysis (internal and external;
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of the market in the country, the competitive environment and relevant market trends affecting the products for which it is responsible and / or related procedures;
  • In alignment with the Regional Marketing team, develop and execute product launch strategies, increase Market share, including the development of local tactical actions;
  • Ensure excellence in product knowledge, internally and externally, conducting training, field assistance, medical training;
  • Product portfolio management, including strategic prioritization, forecasting, supply chain management, line extensions, etc.
  • Responsible for product lifecycle management, including phase-in and phase-out planning and execution;
  • Support the main operational activities, including product recalls, backorders, inventory, in coordination with multifunctional partners;
  • Management of MarCom, national events, work shops, training and congresses;
  • Ensure excellence in the management of KOL's in conjunction with the sales team;
  • Develop and analyze marketing information and trends, sales analysis, price analysis, product line profitability, ROI

2. Sales Force

  • Participate in customer visits, providing sales support for large accounts: responds to technical questions and develop projects according to customer´s' needs.
  • Provide competitive and timely technical data to the sales force.
  • Develop key relationships with industry / market KOL's, organizations and institutions to meet market needs, opportunities and requirements.

3. Conformidade

  • Must conduct all business and affairs in compliance with laws and regulations, including the FCPA and the Stryker Code of Conduct, in accordance with the highest ethical standards.

What you need

  • Graduation in business /engineering or similar.
  • MBA (or similar) in Marketing desirable
  • Strong experience in marketing / sales management, medical device industry is desirable
  • Bilingual – English and Portuguese. Spanish is desirable
  • P&L Management and Products Launch
  • Travel: 50% of the time.
