Responsible for the timely and accurate movement of components used in manufacturing, management of material flow into the production scheme, and coordinating the flow of materials requiring transportation with in the manufacturing facility.   

Works with quality and production in order to manage the process of moving parts and materials throughout the manufacturing plant (kanban system) Maintain a computerized inventory system (ERP), reconciling discrepancies as required. Must be able to proficiently operate a variety of material handling equipment which may include, but not limited to: fork lifts, pallet jacks, and dollies. Work with quality technicians and logistics material handlers to ensure correct component identification and trace-ability. Conducts fact finding and problem solving as required. Assist the Team leader with miscellaneous duties and projects as directed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Education or Equivalent. 
  • Basic Computer skills.
  • Forklift license required.
  • Material Handling experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Must have good communication skills, a customer service orientation, self-motivated, very organized, enthusiastic, detail oriented, resourceful, willing and able to work long hours (including overtime as required), and possess a sense of urgency.
