What You Will Do

Be a design engineer in one of the most successful divisions of Stryker. 

Be part of a cross-functional team that produces electromechanical devices to enhance the surgical environment for surgeons and healthcare providers. 

Be responsible for creation to manufacturing of your design, this will include modeling, prototyping, and proving your design through testing. Specifically, this team member will join the team working to enhance the surgical environment for healthcare providers.

As an embedded software developer, you will get an opportunity to work within a fast-paced new product development environment on our next generation products.

As part of this team, you will interface with cross functional team members both on a local and global scale.

In future growth opportunities, you will have inputs for future projects as well as have opportunities to see our product in action via customer visits and workshops.



You Will Also

  • Design, develop, test, work on compliance, traceability, documentation and refinement of embedded and application level software for medical device electro-mechanical systems
  • Lead design, development, testing & refinement of components and sub-systems
  • Follow Product Design Controls procedures and Software Development lifecycle procedures
  • Own/Support all phases of the product development lifecycle including requirements, design, implementation, debug, verification, validation, and transfer to manufacturing


What You Need

  • B.S. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Industry experience nice to have
  • Versatility, flexibility, ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills; ability to describe issues, plans and objectives.
  • Preferred technical competencies and experience:
    • Medical device design experience or experience in a regulated industry
