In this role as a Chemist III you will develop, validate and troubleshoot measurement systems that are based on chemical and physical principles within a regulated environment

What you will Do

  • Developing, validating and transferring test methods
  • Performing training on and transfer of methods
  • Generating all documentation (procedures, protocols, reports) associated with the establishment of analytical methodology
  • Qualifying laboratory instrumentation which may include instrument selection, generation and execution of procedures for the installation and verification of proper operation and performance
  • Troubleshooting test methodology and instrument performance
  • Communicating technical concepts effectively throughout the organization
  • Working closely with other departments on establishment of appropriate measurement and analysis
  • Providing subject matter support to the organization as needed

What you need:

  • BS in Chemistry or related discipline required               
  • Graduate degree in Chemistry preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years in analytical chemistry is required

What we desire:

  • Experience working in an FDA or foreign government regulated industry
  • Excellent communication and computational skills (college graduate level)
  • Ability to generate clear and comprehensible written correspondence and descriptions
  • Experience in the development and validation of chromatographic or spectrometric methods
  • Material and impurities characterization is preferred
  • Experience with DOE and Gage R&R is preferred
