Job Description

The Job’s Mission
Provide technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging equipment, computer systems, complex software, or networked and/or wireless systems. Respond to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering. May be involved in customer installation and training. Provides support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature.

Key Activities & Accountabilities

  • Ensuring compliance with the quality systems and manufacturer specifications. 
  • Deliver technical assistance and documentation to internal and external customers.
  • Repair and check electronic / mechanical Stryker product
  • Perform annual service checks on Stryker product
  • Promote Service contracts where possible
  • Efficient management of documentation for internal as external reference
  • Provide technical support to product managers and sales staff
  • Provide technical support to Customers and sales departments
  • Provide IT support where required
  • Ensure excellent follow-up on all customer initiated issue
  • Respond to service complaints as required
  • Assist with service delivery, and training of Customers and Sales Staff


  • Diploma or Degree in Clinical Engineering or other Electronic related equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in medical electronics, combined with good mechanical skills, preferably in the hospital environment


  • Stryker product portfolio knowledge preferred
  • Ability to interpret manufacturing prints & troubleshooting guideline
  • Fluency in English, spoken & written
  • Adequate IT knowledge (Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, MFG/Pro, Outlook
  • Valid driving licence
