We are currently seeking a Staff Engineer – System Integration located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

    What you will do:

    • Engage in subsystem design analysis and integration planning with System Feature Owners and System Architect.
    • Drive integration requirements development which are clear, unambiguous and testable.
    • Work with System Architect and Software Engineering team to become proficient in integration architecture
    • Develop and execute system integration plan with released software components
    • Develop and execute system integration plan with 3rd-party software systems
    • Develop integration success criteria in the context of multi-subsystem and system-of-systems environment
    • Develop custom toolsets to drive integration and test automation
    • Work with System Feature Owners to develop subsystem integration driven functional prototypes for new feature development

    What you need:

    • Bachelor ‘s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related discipline.
    • Master’s degree or higher preferred
    • 5+ years of experience with demonstrated technical competence in integration and testing of complex software and hardware systems.
    • Experience with medical equipment makers would be preferred.
    • 1+ year of experience in DevOps/Agile development environment is required.
    • Advanced fluency in scripting on Linux platforms is required. (python, shell, perl)
    • High technical competency in API centric system integration and performance benchmarking.
    • Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, ISO 14971 and IEC 62304
