Responsibilities-

The Supply Planning Analyst will turn data into insight and analyze the implications to the franchise specifically around the performance KPIs, root cause analysis and recommendations in correcting KPI performance to the franchise team.  This will involve the development of analytical tools to speed up diagnostics within the franchise and provide insight for both the DSE and ESR processes. The role will interface with Supply Planning, Integrated Business Planning (IBP/S&OP) management, finance, production scheduling and global process excellence.

Specific responsibilities of the Supply Planning Analyst include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Support the creation of standard set of KPI reports and diagnostics on the root causes of performance and proposed mitigation/corrective actions needed to improve performance
  • Support the creation of content, in conjunction with the supply planner, for the weekly demand and supply execution process to include back order status update and forward risks
  • Support the creation of content for the monthly ESR process within the franchise in conjunction with the supply planner and ensure review content is complete and has all key information for the management team to make decisions
  • Support current local tool development and maintenance such as capacity planning, safety stocks and MRP processes
  • Support the creation of management reports within supply planning that support operationalizing of the core processes and provide insight to the planning team
  • Support the creation of executive communication for weekly and monthly updates in supporting the Supply planning franchise lead to highlight key issues
  • Support the tracking of Phase in and Phase out status of the product portfolio, to support visibility and tracking of the ongoing status of products within the franchise
  • Development of portfolio segmentation within supply planning to identify the product role and requirements such as how it should be treated from a planning, inventory and replenishment method
  • Support the creation of inventory analysis, in regard to visibility and tracking of excess, obsolescence and deviations to control points
  • Support the creation of project management tracking documents to act as support within the plant/franchise in tracking key improvement plans and activities
  • KPIs for the role will be Supply Plan Attainment, Safety Stock Health, Capacity Utilization, Back order and Lead time

Qualifications-

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required.Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Engineering or similar area of study is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years in a reporting or analytics role

Ideal candidates will also possess the following skills/experience:

  • IT/IS planning system experience in SAP or ERP system equivalent
  • Knowledge of S&OP and IBP processes and the role of supply planning within the overall process
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and experience in Power BI, Qlik-view, Tableau, or similar
  • Demonstrated efficient work methods and an ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to express ideas and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to establish and leverage strong working relationships with internal teams
  • Proven record working within a dynamic and results oriented organization focused on empowered work teams
