What you will do

Be a Senior Project engineer in one of the most exciting and successful areas at Stryker Robotics! Be part of the development and introduction of new products and work extensively with Product Development, Quality and Manufacturing Operations to take a product from design concept through production ramp up.

Specific responsibilities of the Sr. Project Engineer include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Review designs of electro-mechanical systems.
  • Develop manufacturing process and test strategies for electro-mechanical systems.
  • Select and develop suppliers that will understand and comply with our requirements.
  • Utilize design transfer tools such as Process Flow chart, Process FMEA, Control Plan, Measurement System Analysis and Process Validation

What you need

B.S in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline with 3 years experience is required

Ideal candidates will also possess the following skills/experiences:

  • A minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in the Medical Device, or similar, quality regulated industries
  • Must be able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and have a good understanding of geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Proven ability to effectively work in a fast paced, dynamic and results oriented team environment
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills - able to express ideas and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience in executing complex problem-solving techniques related to technical manufacturing and design issues.
  • Good understanding of Design for Manufacturing.
