General Desciption – Senior Program Manager Global ELPO (Enterprise Logistics Planning Operations)

Reporting to the Global Engineering Services lead, you will assume responsibility for leading transformational programs within the Enterprise Logistics and Planning Organization focused on Stryker’s global end to end distribution network and Integrated Business Planning footprint

Responsibilities include:

  • Define, scope and lead programs and projects supporting the transformation of the ELPO organization to a world class distribution and planning entity within Stryker as compared to the industry
  • To ensure all projects and programs meet or exceed strategic objectives on budget and on time based on business needs
  • Promote a common approach to program/project execution and influence others to follow the standard approach

Essential Functions:

  • Must be able to convert strategic objectives to actionable plans
  • Problem solving skills to define actions required to eliminate waste within the process or area of focus
  • Must be able to develop complete action plans for individual projects to execute flawless delivery of project requirements
  • Must be able to outline program scope and develop multiple project to deliver desired program level results
  • Must be able to identify key business metrics (leading & lagging) to insure deliverables are sustainable
  • Develop and track program/project progress with MS Project or equivalent project tracking platform
  • Must be able to communicate well and collaborate for effective project management
  • Must be able to identify relevant stakeholders and skills to influence to insure project success
  • Must be able to hold project team accountable to due dates and deliverable objectives


  • Proven track record of running large scale transformation project
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience in presenting and collaborating senior level stakeholders
  • Experience in leading projects focused on distribution centers and sales and operations planning organizations
  • 4+ Years of experience with Technical, Engineering, or Business degree
  • Working level knowledge around Lean Six Sigma & Supply Chain is essential
  • Experience in Agile development process
  • PMP certification or equivalent


  • International Travel could be at approx. 20 to 30% given the project need and start up nature of the role.
