What you will do

Improve healthcare by ensuring perfect hardware equipment releases at Stryker.

In your role as a Senior Hardware Verification Engineer, you’ll be responsible for working with product development teams and coordinating product level test activities over the entire product development cycle. You’ll be involved from the very beginning – assisting with the planning and design – and you’ll be there throughout the execution and implementation phases. We’ll look to you to assist teams ensuring product test programs, as you’re the torchbearer when it comes to establishing the proper utilization of best practices. From developing product verification tests and identifying potential glitches to compiling product test results and creating test reports, you are the crucial conduit to ensuring our equipment is ready for use. Your precision with product verification sets the stage for lives to be saved.

What you need

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of product test or equivalent experience in a product development environment
  • Preferred qualifications include:
    • Exposure to managing complex projects and multiple priorities
    • Familiarity with design and project management methodologies
    • Familiarity with an externally regulated product development environment (FDA, FAA, etc.)
    • Exposure to 21 CFR 820 regulations and ISO 13485, and 17025 medical device standards
    • Experienced technical writing skills and strong interpersonal communication skills
