Job Description

  • Develop and execute all government sales strategies and activities in regional military and federal healthcare market with potential areas nationwide and abroad.
  • Work in close partnership with Sales Managers and Sales Representatives to develop and execute a plan to drive sales growth in the military and federal healthcare sector.
  • Meet or exceed sales objectives.
  • Initiate, build, and grow existing customer relationships and engagement; drive long-term customer loyalty and retention.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with surgeons in military and federal healthcare system and continue to foster these relationships when they enter the commercial marketplace and move to private practice.
  • Maintain a process to ensure compliance with contract requirements at all Government facilities.
  • Review contracts and assist contract administrators in developing quotes and responses to inquiries.
  • Support the assigned customer in sales activities and provide assistance to the customer in identifying new opportunities.
  • Coordinate activities and provide supplemental leadership in local territories to establish individual sales strategies, obtain appropriate approvals for pricing, and ensure delivery.
  • Maintain knowledge of market trends, competitive actions, product needs, and customer base.
  • Work with Marketing to develop project-specific sales strategies for assigned military customers.
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 or more years of medical sales experience-preferably working with Government Accounts
