What You Will Do

  • Coordinate financial audits with Corporate Internal Audit and external auditors, research technical accounting guidance to ensure proper accounting treatment in accordance with GAAP.
  • Establish, maintain and review processes to ensure effective SOX & GAAP compliance for  internal controls over key business processes (e.g., reviews of balance sheet reconciliations for timeliness and accuracy, segregation of duties and Oracle access, sales order review, purchase order approval limits, revenue recognition, payroll approvals etc.).
  • As requested, assist in financial reporting to Stryker Corporate for monthly closes, quarterly and year-end schedules, statutory vs. management reporting, projects and budgets.
  • Perform monthly financial statement and account reconciliation review & document findings for corporate reporting.
  • Support identification and implemention of Cost transformation intitatives .
  • Coordinate with Global finance team on Financial reporting, Operating plan and streamlining processes across the business including designing and standarding reports and submissions

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in related field.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • 2-5 years of Accounting/Finance experience required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SOX and US GAAP.
  • Public accounting and audit experience preferred.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts.
  • Ability to analyze statistical and financial data.

Work From Home: Occasional

Travel Percentage: 10%
