Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst performs general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and capital expenditure schedules. The Senior Financial Analyst prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles. The Senior Financial Analyst provides financial support, including forecasting, budgeting and analyzing variations from budget, analyzes and prepares statutory accounts, financial statements and reports. The Senior Financial Analyst conducts or assists in the documentation of accounting projects, evaluates accounting systems and ensures the accurate compilation and reporting of accounting data, coordinates internal and external audits.  The Senior Financial Analyst drives goals of the division through financial support including HFM reporting and SAP reporting.

What you will do:

  • Assist with month-end close process
  • Preparation of monthly reconciliations
  • Provide detailed accounting reports to management
  • Communicate with other divisions on accounting matters
  • Coordinate internal and external audits including SOX and financial statement audits
  • Assist in preparation of schedules for financial audit conducted by both internal audit and external auditor
  • Works directly with management on coordinating Balance Sheet reviews
  • Consistently seek areas for process and procedure improvement

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business with emphasis in accounting related curriculum
  • CPA preferred, but not required
  • General accounting and financial reporting knowledge
  • Minimum of 2-4 years accounting or related experience
  • Ability to analyze and resolve non-routine accounting issues using independent judgement
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Power BI
  • Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley
