Job Description


This position will be responsible for the weekly/monthly/yearly financial statement preparation of internal reports (Division Management) and external reports (Corporate) as well as assisting the Director of Finance with analysis and commentary.  This position will also be responsible for analyzing R&D expense (the largest dollar expense line in the Divisions Income Statement) detail, recommending cost savings initiatives, as well as projecting and budgeting these expenses and explaining variances in addition to a focus on new product development modeling.


•  Responsible for reporting forecasted Division expenses and other Corporate required data through Hyperion consolidation system

•  Responsible for reporting forecasted Division expenses for internal management review and commentary.

•  Responsible for preparation of senior management presentation material of R&D expenses and NPD models.

•  Analyze other significant dollar items in the R&D organization such as meetings, T&E, project expense, headcount(compensation) as well as provide budget, projection, and actual variance commentary for these items.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4 year degree in Business, Finance, Economics or similar discipline
  • 2-4 years in an FP&A role
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Experience with new product modelling or business modelling is preferred
  • Med device industry experience is preferred
