Job Description

The Financial Analyst - Global Travel and Meetings will support Stryker's Global Travel and Meetings program and service management.  This professional will support project implementations for online technology tools, services and products as well as overall projects taken on by the department. This professional will further perform analytics of global data to measure program compliance, contract effectiveness, and cost optimization for decision support. Responsibilities will include developing and delivering communications to travelers regarding travel services and programs and assess Spend Smarter opportunities. The role will also involve direct responsibility for the global hotel program annual refresh.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Manage business intelligence reporting platform, improving analytic insights and adapting to changing stakeholder requirements.
  • Partner with divisions and corporate finance teams in analyzing, monitoring variances, identify trends and recommending actions in the periodic travel/meeting spend reporting.
  • Manage the global travel management partners monthly and quarterly financials.
  • Administer and support Global Travel Center content.
  • Manage travel issue resolution with BCD Travel, Stryker’s global travel management company to include the on-line booking tool (Concur).
  • Lead, with a vendor, the global hotel program annual refresh of preferred properties and related negotiations.
  • Perform preferred vendor spend analytics, reporting and oversight to ensure department vendor matrix is relevant and current.
  • Facilitate acquisition integrations into Travel & Meetings programs.
  • Support Stryker Meeting Services.
  • International SOS (ISOS)- Support 24/7 global travel incident monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain department standard procedures and processes.

Education & Special Trainings:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field preferred.
  • Certification in project management preferred.
  • Travel and Meetings background strongly desired.
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience required.
