Job Description

The Senior Analyst, Consolidations, plays a key role in the Division-wide consolidation processes for month-end close, budget and quarterly projections, and the Division-wide strategic planning process.  This person is the key point of contact with Stryker MSNT Group Finance for financial reporting, budget, and projections. This person also will play a key role in developing a service-based business model for the Communications Business Unit.

What you need

  • 2 - 4 years related experience or equivalent. Knowledge of financial accounting practices and procedures.
  • B.A. or B.S. in business or related curriculum.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient on Microsoft applications especially Access and Excel.

What you will do

  • Helps lead the Division-wide financial consolidation process for month-end close, annual budget, and quarterly projections.  Assists with the development and tracking of annual budgets.
  • Ensures financial close functions, including consolidations, reporting, monthly projections, and annual budgets are performed accurately and timely.
  • Interacts with senior management to ensure effective communication of financial results, budgets, analyses, and projections.
  • Provides key performance metrics and analysis of key business issues to senior management.
  • Is a key point of contact for Stryker MSNT Group Finance.  Coordinates month-end close, budget, and projection submissions with MSNT Group Finance. 
  • Oversees consolidation and submission of Division financial statements and partners with Business Unit and Shared Service finance leads and accounting management with regards to budgeting, projections and variance analysis.
  • Identifies and implements process improvements and controls that enhance efficiency of processes and financial integrity of results. 
  • Assists senior management with development and implementation of consolidation and budget procedures; ensures all established policies and procedures are followed by employees.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of all operating systems pertaining to the work area.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
