Job Description

Responsible for providing sales analytics and insights for the Surgical Europe Sales and Marketing teams. The role aims to deliver analysis of the Business Unit’s Key performance Indicators, dashboards and reports by geographies, products, customers and sales reps. This is a strategic role to help Stryker Surgical deliver its growth strategy in Europe.

The Sales Analyst will act as the main points of contract for the Surgical Business Unit in Europe and train sales/marketing users on the BI tools, he/she will partner with the Sales Enablement Manager to successfully implement new BI applications and own the European division marketing hierarchy.

Key Activities & Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for all sales reporting for Surgical Europe this includes (but not limited to): daily and monthly sales information, KPIs, sales and marketing dashboards/reports, competitive data/indicators and market share data
  • Main point of contact for Sales and Marketing teams for all sales data needs – responsibilities include leading the annual quota setting process, establishing and maintaining KPI data, CRM concerns, Road-to-Quota (RTQ) process, maintaining sales territory and alignment process, commission modeling, and pricing insights
  • Continued enhancement of all Sales reporting, looking for opportunities to standardize, streamline and archive all sales reporting and analytics
  • Interact closely with US Division, Surgical Europe Sales, Marketing, and Finance team to provide insights based on the sales data
  • Liaison with country finance, sales compensation team, and Sales Operations team to ensure proper calculations and timely payments for Sales Reps and Sales Managers commissions
  • Drives adoption and use of newly created tools including training and point-of-need assistance
  • Ensures validity of product and sales categorizations and hierarchies; direct contact point for master data teams 

Education: 

  • Bachelors in Business, Economics, Finance or IT
  • Masters in Business preferred, but not required
  • Fluent in oral and written English

Competencies:

  • Project Management skills
  • Effective communication skills, able to present complex analytics to management
  • Excellent prioritization and analytical skills
  • Ability to comprehensively understand master data, transactional and analytical data, hierarchies, sources and relationships
  • Should be able to speak language of both IT and Business
  • Knowledge of Business
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of BI reporting tool is a plus
  • Proactive attitude in driving decision taking
