Summary:  The Reverse Logistics Associate will work in a fast-paced environment that partners closely with other internal departments to provide optimum customer care to our customers, with an emphasis on maintaining and improving business for Stryker Spine. The primary responsibility of this position is to optimize efficiencies of incoming field inventory and subsequent transactions. The Reverse Logistics Associate assists Specialists in research efforts to ensure accuracy of transactions processed upon return of inventory. The position is responsible for frontline communication to the customer regarding incoming inventory as well as ensuring on-time return in order to help meet the company’s growing needs and demands.

Schedule: 8:00am to 5:00pm (flexibility to start between 8:00am and 9:00am and end 5:00pm to 6:00pm)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Frontline communication to the external sales team on the return of product to the facility.
  • Assist in enhancing and automating communication to the sales team
  • Follow up on any missing or delinquent inventory
  • Gain full understanding of entire order process cycle and assist in process improvements
  • Lead research efforts for all transactions with CRM and Oracle system
  • Establish reporting to ensure accuracy of internal transactions through Oracle system
  • Assist in creating metrics to monitor and measure inventory return performance
  • Interface with all internal operations teams to help develop efficient and cost effective returns processes
  • Assist with developing CRM system to better enhance returns process
  • Interface with Supply Inventory Management team to ensure accuracy inventory in field branches
  • Work closely with inventory cycle count team on incoming product
  • Perform other tasks as needed; may occasionally need to support the Customer Care team in daily functions

Education/Experience: 

Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma; and at least 3 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability: 

Ability to read, write and understand detailed work instructions and Good Manufacturing Processes. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, and the general public.

Math Ability: 

Ability to calculate figures and apply concepts of basic math.

Reasoning Ability: 

Ability to follow detailed work instructions, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Must be detail oriented.

Computer Skills:

Previous experience in an ERP system required; JD Edwards preferred.  Experience with a CRM system preferred.  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) with advanced Excel skills.
