Job Description

Basic Function:

  • Under minimal supervision ensures that the Communications Business Unit receives and processes returned product in a timely and compliant manner.  Through this responsibility, the Returns Coordinator’s tasks include but are not limited to order booking, project scheduling and RMA processing
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of our order management, project scheduling and Returns processes and systems to implement key quality projects

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in training on all functions related to the returns process
  • Able to create and implement standard work processes relevant to team functions and goals
  • Work with Sales Support Reps, Materials Team and Customer Care on projects which improve and/or add efficiencies to the business.
  • Able to assess state of returned product quality per standard procedures and standards
  • Responsible for analyzing complaint data related to product quality
  • Research problems or issues related to Sales Force, Project Managers, Operations or discrepant returns to identify and quickly resolve issues related to returned material.
  • Coordinate with other departments as required in order to maximize inventory brought back to stock
  • Responsible fo segregation and disposal of non-compliant product
  • Has the independence and authority to perform required tasks to ensure all provisions of the quality system are met.

  • Completes assigned tasks accurately and in a timely manner

  • Responsible for revenue generation stemming from returned product
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a minimal amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, etc. Generally involves sitting most of the time

Mental requirements:

  • Prioritize work and follow up.  Excellent multitasking skills required.
  • Collecting and analyzing data to identify trends and root problems.
  • Assisting problem solving activities to continually improve order management processes.
  • Coordinate with other departments.
  • Exceptional service orientation.
  • Must be able to address problems with limited supervision
  • Must be able to analyze and resolve routine issues using independent judgment

Skills/Experience:

  • Ability to communicate well with customers, sales force, project managers, supervisor, and co-workers in both written and verbal communication.
  • Basic PC skills (Microsoft Office experience preferred)
  • Effective analytical skills; demonstrate organizational skills
  • Familiarity with Stryker products preferred
  • 1-2 years professional experience preferred

Education/Training:

  • High school diploma
  • Associate Degree and/or formal customer service training desired.
