Job Description

The Chemist will help develop, improve, validate and troubleshoot measurement systems that are based on chemical and physical principles within a regulated environment

What you will Do

o Help developing, improving, validating and transferring test methods

o Performing training on and transfer of methods

o Generating all documentation (procedures, protocols, reports) associated with the establishment of analytical methodology

o Qualifying laboratory instrumentation which may include instrument selection, generation and execution of procedures for the installation and verification of proper operation and performance

o Troubleshooting test methodology and instrument performance

o Communicating technical concepts effectively throughout the organization

o Working closely with other departments on establishment of appropriate measurement and analysis

o Providing subject matter support to the organization as needed

What you need:

o BS in Chemistry or related discipline required               

o Graduate degree in Chemistry preferred

o A minimum of 2 years in analytical chemistry is required

o Experience with GMP software (Agile, LIMS, Empower, etc...)

What we desire:

o Experience working in an FDA or foreign government regulated industry

o Excellent communication and computational skills (college graduate level)

o Ability to generate clear and comprehensible written correspondence and descriptions

o Experience in the development and validation of chromatographic or spectrometric methods

o Material and impurities characterization is preferred

o Experience with DOE is preferred
