What you will do

As Program/Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a new complex ERP system for two critical Business units of the Endoscopy Division. You will directly lead multiple cross functional workstreams in planning and execution of this large program ensuring that project objectives are delivered on-time and within budget. 

This role requires you to work closely with Division and Business Unit leadership stakeholders to ensure project objectives are appropriate, required project resources (budget and people) are allocated, and project risks are mitigated.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Define and manage project scope, budget and schedule
  • Understand and implement Corporate guidance to Business Unit level requirements
  • Manage the project plan by identifying critical path, constraints, contingencies and project risks to achieve project and business objectives – sometimes across multiple workstreams
  • Communicate project status and escalate risks to stakeholders
  • Provide Lessons Learned, Best Practices, and Resource Management recommendations
  • Foster collaboration and engagement of cross-functional project teams

What you need

  • Minimum 7+ years successful demonstrated project management and/or engineering/IS experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in a scientific or engineering field preferred; business, finance or IS field will be considered in conjunction with experience
  • Successful track record in the development, commercialization and sustainment of products and/or IS/ERP systems.
  • Prior project management experience required.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards with acute attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with high accountability and integrity
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to bring together multiple functions (IS, Finance, Legal, Operations, Sales, etc.) as a cohesive team
  • Strong organizational, change management, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Demonstrated track record of handling complex or difficult situations as appropriate
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Basic PC skills and proficient on Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint)

Physical/TRAVEL requirements

  • Able to exert up to 50lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
  • Some Travel may be required (up to 20%)
