Job Description

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering one of our Division's flagship products. You will own a product that acts as the information hub for Operating Rooms around the world. You will be responsible for the combined hardware and software platform, though the vast majority of your focus will be delivering new software features.

To succeed in this role, you should have a successful track record of delivering new products to external customers as well as a demonstrable understanding of software project management.

Essential Functions:

  • Deliver new products to market.
  • Deliver updates to existing products.
  • Manage cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Manage risks.
  • Develop business processes needed to make the project a success.
  • Manage and inform stakeholders.
  • Ensure a positive return on investment.
  • Lead a cross-functional team and ensure all technical and business requirements are met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in related field or equivalent. 
  • Successful track record of bringing new products to market.
  • Prior project management experience over software development efforts.
  • Experience with Agile software development.
  • Ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to bring together multiple functions (R&D, Marketing, Quality, Operations, etc.) as a cohesive team
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Degree or background that allows you to understand engineering problems and trade-offs.
  • Preferred: Experience at a medical device company.
