Job Description

Negotiate comprehensive pricing contracts, implement pricing strategies,and processes to assist the Stryker Orthopaedics’ sales organization in driving successful business relationships and partnerships.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
•    Lead Stryker efforts in contract negotiations for assigned branches and accounts
•    Communication/Coordination with SLT
•    Business and Pricing Strategy Development
•    Lead Customer Interface
•    Oversight of Customer Deliverables in Coordination with Internal Resource and Consistent with Company Guidelines
•    Ongoing customer interaction/business reviews with strategic accounts to identify new business opportunities and risks
•    Educate and train local Stryker branch personnel on contracting and pricing protocols to facilitate effective customer interactions
•    Perform Business Reviews with Strategic Accounts and Branch/Agencies
•    Integrate strategy with SPS, Mako and MedSurg Divisions 
•    Facilitate trauma conversion opportunities by managing proposal and contracting efforts
•    Research competitive environment and develop talk points, training/education, tools, etc.  
•    Programs
•    Pricing
•    National 
•    Regional
•    Research hospital based challenges
•    Sales representative basic correspondence
•    Leverage Stryker Corporate National Accounts Group

Education and Special Training Required
•    4 year degree 

Qualifications and Work Experience Required
•    6+ years’ experience working with major IDNs & GPOs, Contract and Pricing Negotiation with documented success throughout the US healthcare system.
•    Demonstrated excellence meeting objectives in prior positions.
•    7+ years in direct sales, contracts and pricing, hospital administration or equivalent.
•    Increasing responsibility in business roles.
•    Direct selling experience required preferably in consultative selling model, medical device preferred.
•    Leadership and ability to manage complex customer relationships in a healthcare setting including surgeons, clinicians, hospital administrators, Group Purchasing Organizations.
•    Demonstrated record of overachieving sales (quota, dollar and percent growth). 
•    Negotiation experience. 
•    Familiarity of both Reconstructive and Trauma orthopaedic implant systems and sales models.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
•    ERP experience (Oracle, SAP, etc).
•    Demonstrated ability to influence, communicate, and interact effectively with all levels of the organization to impact results with no direct reporting structure.

Travel Percentage: Up to 75%
