Job Description

Essential duties:

  • Provide a high level of customer service via phone and case management system in verbal and written communication to employees/managers.
  • Triage inquiries regarding Workday system functionality, corporate policies, benefit and leave information, payroll/paycheck questions, recruiting, SLMS, and total rewards.
  • Assist employees/ manager questions regarding HR related processes (i.e. common annual review, annual enrollment, recruiting).
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information (i.e. HIPPA related)
  • Provide training to employees and managers on Workday functionality and HR processes.
  • Create and/or provide feedback on job aids on system functionality.
  • Determine escalation path of more complex customer issues to specialized teams or the appropriate COE for advanced support and follow up as required.
  • Assist employees and managers with myHR portal and Workday system navigation and completing transactions.
  • Manage workload efficiently to fulfill commitments in accordance with established service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Enter case and maintain customer contact until request is resolved and/or transferred to relevant party to resolve.
  • Direct / educate employees and managers to appropriate online support materials, tools, systems, and /or vendors if applicable.

Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma required.

Preferred:

  • Customer service experience.
  • Experience using a case management or HRMS system.
  • Experience with Workday applications.

Mental Requirements:

  • Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), typing proficiency is required and experience with a case management system and HCM system is preferred.
  • Understand and comprehend general requests in order to provide accuracy responses to information.
  • Ability to recall specific information from a variety of HR related materials. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills along with presentation, written and verbal communication skills are necessary
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills required to work with different levels of business leadership, business users and functional teams.
  • Making decisions with little to no support.
  • Adhere to HIPPA and confidentiality requirements.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and complete tasks assigned.
  • Ability to produce quality work while, prioritizing multiple simultaneous deliverables
  • Ability to provide rapid, accurate response to confidential/sensitive requests and to handle confidential information
  • Communicate clearly telephonically and via email and other electronic means
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and changing priorities

Physical/Safety Requirements:

  • Must have good visual perception and demonstrate fine motor skills/ability
  • May involve prolonged periods of stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, as appropriate.
