Job Description:

  • Lead the HCP Regional Medical Education Team in building and facilitating regional educational programs inclusive of the mobile lab
  • Align the TEACH regional education strategy with T&E divisional strategic initiatives
  • Manage and develop team with strengths based approach

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the regional HCP education strategy for Stryker product trainings in both regional and mobile lab setting.
  • Hire, train and retain talent within team
  • Partner with fellow Education Managers such as of Resident and Fellow Education, Third Party and National Programs to execute department goals and objectives.
  • Partner with Area Directors and Director, Area Field Marketing to execute educational programs and strategies to ensure HCPs are well trained on Stryker products.
  • Ensure compliance in all educational programs and HCP interactions within team.
  • Develop and maintain a proactive relationship with Professional Affairs, Compliance and Legal teams. 
  • Ensure regional training strategy is aligned with strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate with the marketing leadership teams to align the marketing and regional education strategy.
  • Assist with surgeon consultant management inclusive of identifying future thought leaders for education and participating in the thought leader process
  • Meet Medical Education Team yearly budget objectives.
  • Oversee field surgeon hours
  • Lead the CER process for additional mobile lab opportunities
  • Identify team challenges and look for ways to improve overall efficiencies.
  • Oversee logistics support for T&E National HCP Programs
  • Implement the TEACH Medical Education vision & strategy and influence alignment with team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 6+ years experience in a medical education, marketing and/or sales marketing function required
  • 2+ years management experience preferred
  • Previous experience in healthcare products or medical devices
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, collaboratively and to lead a team
  • Demonstrated verbal communication skills (both in groups and one-on-on interaction) and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage geographically dispersed team including international direct reports
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor others
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with Senior leaders
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a diverse team of experts
  • Demonstrated experience in developing individuals
  • Demonstrated organization skills, detail orientation, and the ability to prioritize and multi task effectively; skills are demonstrated while meeting/exceeding quality standards and deadlines.
