Great opportunity to join the Joint Replacement Division FP&A team!  We are looking for someone who is able to seamlessly navigate between the "big picture" and details of our industry leading business and provide insight through analysis and strong business acumen.  The manager will possess a process orientation, attention to detail, and strong analytic and communication skills.  This role provides a unique opportunity to work within the Joint Replacement Division and have exposure across all areas of the business and P&L.  This role offers a great opportunity to join a highly engaged team focused on planning, reporting and analytics that enables strategic business decisions and improved business management.  This position will manage a team of highly engaged financial analysts.

What you will do:

  • Lead the planning process (budget, projection and long range financial plan) with a focus on ensuring financial plans align with division strategy
  • Perform analysis that provides insights into the underlying drivers and trends of the business
  • Lead the sales forecasting and analysis process
  • Manage the month-end reporting process and provide commentary and insights on key variances to Stryker leadership
  • Drive process improvements across areas of responsibility to enable additional insights and drive efficiencies
  • Oversight of various month-end accounting activities and profit center management
  • Manage and develop a team of highly engaged individuals
  • Ad hoc analysis

What you need:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree and/or CPA preferred
  • 6+ years of experience in a business finance environment required
  • 3+ years of experience providing finance support to a business function or financial reporting for a division
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, financial project management and prioritize workload
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately analyze financial statements/other data in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively organize, communicate (both verbally and in writing), and present financial information and recommendations
  • Demonstrated ability to provide internal customer service and partner/influence business leader
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and manage a highly engaged team

Work From Home: Occasional

Travel Percentage: 10%
