Job Description: The Manager, Commercial Excellence manages and appraises the implementation and execution of sales operations (quota setting, compensation plans, territory alignment, etc.) and pricing systems and process. Manages the sales operations and pricing team members. Will act as a business partner to regional managers and sales leaders to optimize sales and pricing performance.

  • Provide support by taking primary responsibility for development and completion of Sales Measurement Metrics.
  • Provide support to Sales Management in the analysis and development all Sales Rep and Region Quotas. 
  • Provide support to Sales Management in the analysis and development all Sales territory changes, adjustments and expansions
  • Own sales operations processes and be responsible for driving and implementing process improvements.  
  • Provide support to Sales Management in the analysis and development of all pricing related measurements, reports and routine deliverables
  • Provide guidance and suggestions to Sales and Finance leadership on areas to improve pricing performance
  • Manage and/or administer all aspects of pricing policy and representative contracts with end customers to ensure a consistent pricing methodology throughout the division.
  • Analyzes and interprets customer pricing deviation reports and develop customer focus strategies for improvement.
  • Responsible for strategic level sales improvement analysis such as: maximizing over-quota performance, optimization of quota opportunity by geography, next-generation sales incentive programs            .
  • Acts as primary liaison with shared services I.S., Kalamazoo Shared Finance (Distributor Reporting), Customer service and Procare on all Pricing, Sales and data management matters
  • Responsible for developing a strategy and long-term monitoring of Master Customer Data.
  • Manage team of professional executing sales operations and pricing analytics, reporting.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 7-10+ years relevant experience required.
  • Intermediate understanding of business strategy, financial strategy, financial projections, reporting and consolidations preferred
  • Exercise discretion and independence when applying professional expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with high level business leaders in multiple functional areas.
  • Proven performance in both strategic and tactical support.
  • Ability to operate in a complex environment, leveraging internal and external partners to meet the needs of the business.
  • Must be able to manage time, projects, stress and conflict.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication, conflict management and people management.
  • Must be able to bring tasks through to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Must have the ability to prioritize work and keep detailed and confidential records.
  • Must be able to communicate / present to large groups of people.
