Job Description

  • Partner with US Marketing Operations and GQO Plants teams to coordinate inbound and outbound volumes to Distribution Operations and Customer Service to balance demand and capacity.
  • Provide inputs to all allocations of product during launch phase to maximize throughput constraints and performance versus plan.
  • Develop a network and system for identifying potential product supply issues and assess likely impact on Distribution Operations in order for the Teams to implement appropriate proactive solutions.
  • Create, monitor, and communicate metrics on both internal performance as well as those for our business partners such as Marketing Operations, Demand Planning, CDC’s, Carriers, GQO etc.
  • Champion process improvements which will make operations and distribution more efficient and look for opportunities to create competitive advantage.
  • Partner with cross divisional teams to support and drive company wide initiatives such as freight management.
  • Strategically plan and manage inputs impacting logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services to include product launch strategies and timing.
  • Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle of Divisional Finished Goods
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers.
  • Monitor / trend / report out on quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiencies.
  • Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments.
  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints external but related to the Distribution operation.
  • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.
  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
  • Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6+ years Business Management/Logistics experience.
  • Demonstrated Supply Chain, and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence/guide cross functional teams
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills on a 1:1 and group basis.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
  • Bachelors Degree Required
