Job Description

Education: Bachelor's Degree in a technical or engineering discipline.

Qualifications and Work Experience Required:

  • 5+ yrs. experience within a software application domain. Cross-functional experience preferred
  • 1+ years demonstrated project management experience in at least one discipline (RA/QA, R&D, Operations, Sales etc.)
  • Demonstrated teamwork skills across functional organizations such as software, system design, sales, operations, platform, and test teamsProven working experience in software technical documentation. 
  • Be detail oriented with strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, collaborative team work, and negotiation skills
  • Keen attention to detail and high regard for quality.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new processes and software tools.
  • Experience working within a team, pursuing technical solutions
  • Ability to build product knowledge and understanding of highly technical and scientific regulatory activities
  • Experience working directly with engineering teams.
  • Experience working with agile project management methodologies is a plus.

Job Summary:

  • Responsible for providing leadership, organization and coordination of development projects within the software team and corresponding integrated schedules
  • Lead the software team on projects to advance technologies or devices to completion
  • Manage schedules and communicates as needed so that the team meets business demands in a timely and efficient manner while fulfilling all expectations of quality
  • Develop application software technical documentation and related materials for robot assisted surgery products.
  • Partner with peers in software engineering, system engineering, software quality assurance and project and product management to ensure the content and technical accuracy and contribute to the overall success of our products.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop high quality documentation that meets the company quality standards.
  • Partner with peers to obtain an in-depth understanding of the products and requirements for software documentation.
  • Manage project schedules and be able to clearly communicate status of assignments, coordinate tasks, and shift priorities as dictated by project demands.
  • Apply knowledge of project management processes, communication, and collaboration within the defined team
  • Manage project status updates for program peers, records action items and reports on follow up
  • Participate in product development as skills apply and as necessary.
  • Train to develop new skills or enhance existing skills, as directed.
  • Follow the company’s quality process and complies with quality management system procedures.
  • Ensure the integrity and security of company intellectual property and confidential data.
  • Comply with ongoing training requirements.
