As an integral part of the Accelerate initiative, the Lead Analyst, SAP Analytics is responsible for ensuring SAP users are equipped to use and customize SAP reports to meet their reporting and analytics needs.  Core activities include training users on reports, completing formal validation testing of new/enhanced reports, supporting users during hypercare, and providing support to live sites.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Onboard Analytics Power Users and end users for New SAP Releases including:
    • Facilitate identification of Power Users
    • Ensure analytics power user access to BOBJ
    • Create/update training documentation
    • Train analytics power users on BA toolset (Analysis for Office, WebI)
    • Train analytics power users on use of existing BA reports
    • Hypercare: Support analytics power users in leveraging enterprise reports and creating local views as needed
  • Support existing live sites including:
    • Execute new report and regression testing, documenting defects and results in HP ALM
    • Update Functional Design documentation
    • Provide support to Site Analytics Leads (SALs) and Analytics Power Users (APUs) as a subject matter expert BA tools and enterprise reports
    • Maintain knowledge base (User Guide, Yammer site content, training documentation, etc.)
    • Facilitate BA Community meetings (Best practice sharing, introduction of new reports and capabilities, etc.)
    • Document requirements and justification of enhancement requests
    • Support BA Workstream Leads in prioritizing and fulfilling enhancement requests

Education:

  • BS, BA in Information Systems, Computer Science, Logistics, Accounting, or Business Administration, or equivalent required.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Prefer minimum of 5 years of experience working with analytical reports and large datasets
  • Strong data analysis, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Prior experience with reporting tools such as SAP Analysis for Office, Web Intelligence, Power BI, Tableau, etc.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong oral communication skills in order to present to small and medium sized audiences
  • Excellent written communication skills in order to create functional design or other formal documentation
  • Must have the ability to move quickly without compromising quality.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
  • Must have a high attention to detail
  • Must have a commitment to excellence with a strong work ethic
  • Must be versatile, flexible and willing to enthusiastically work with ever-changing priorities
  • Must have ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising accuracy
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships and influence others
