Job Description

Stryker is seeking an experienced Territory Management and Incentive Compensation solutions architect with the knowledge and ability to design and deliver capabilities across a Global Template Architecture that includes Salesforce.com, Model N, SAP S4, MDG, Hana BI, Workday and SAP commissions and T&Q.  This role will be a core driver of the architecture data flow, and processing across these systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow and maintain relationships with key IS and Business Stakeholders to understand and document the specific needs of Stryker Divisions and how they can be met with our Global Template.
  • Research compensation related issues and propose solutions.
  • Design and implement any required Data Integrations, Pre and Post processing and overall SAP commissions configuration.
  • Work closely with the Stryker Run team for transition from solution build to steady state run management.
  • Proactively manage and deliver tasks in a timely and accurate manner.

The role of the Solution Architect is to design specific solutions, ensuring alignment with business architecture of the solution domain, the internal architecture of the solution (e.g. application suite architecture). The Solution Architect investigates and selects emerging technologies as needed and creates a future state roadmap of the domain architecture (CRM, ERP, TMIC etc.). Drives an understanding of business challenges to business value (ROI) from a solution/technology standpoint.

  • Delivers the right technology for process following EA guidance.
  • Responsible for the quality of the solution/code – establishes and enforces best practices and standards.
  • Responsible for end to end technology/data flow.
  • Enabling developers and technicians to contribute to a coherent solution architecture.
  • Working on the level of individual solutions and their integrations.
  • Creating, documenting, communicating and maintaining the overall design of a single or integrated set of solutions through their life cycle.
  • Supporting and participating in the identification and prioritization of quality requirements from all solution stakeholders.
  • Coaching developers and technicians.
  • Capturing and disseminating development and operations experience.
  • Overseeing and reviewing designs and solutions for compliance with solution architecture, enterprise architecture and domain guidance.
  • Defining and documenting interfaces between components and solutions guided by common business, domain and enterprise schema standards.
  • Supporting solution life cycle planning.
  • Keeping abreast of new and updated technologies, methods and products.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining Environment Strategies, Release/Technical Deployment Processes, and Version Control.
  • Responsible for integration design patterns and best practices for each platform.

Education & Special Training:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent required.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Territory Management and Compensation plan design and administration required.
  • 4+ years of experience with the SAP Commissions / CallidusCloud Incentive Management platform, Unix shell scripting code and troubleshooting, Perl experience strongly preferred. Mastery of SQL strongly preferred.
  • 4+ years of Informatica v7+ and ETL solutions design strongly preferred.
  • Creative and proactive stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple competing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to build cross functional relationships at all levels of an organization and act as a collaborative and trusted business partner.
