Experienced within the Medical sales industry?  Highly driven with proven Sales success?  Stryker Medical UK & Ireland have a unique opportunity for a highly driven and experienced individual to drive forward the Sales of their Emergency Care Transport and Defibrillator business within Ireland’s Ambulance Service market.

The Emergency Care business comprises of Stryker’s Emergency Care portfolio including our EC Transport product range alongside our Defibrillator, Mechanical Chest Compression and Data Solutions Portfolio.  Stryker Emergency Care develops best-in-class solutions that address critical issues affecting caregivers and patients.   An industry leader in ambulance cots, fasteners, stair chairs and evacuation chairs alongside being a world leader in the development, manufacturing, sale and service of external defibrillator/monitors and emergency medical response products and services; built for Emergency Care Professionals and designed to save lives.   

A dynamic marketplace driven by a combination of Science and Technology, Stryker lead the way with their No 1 Emergency Care Signature Brands; Power Pro® and LIFEPAK® improving Systems of Care for Emergency Care Providers and continuing to make healthcare better for our patients. 

After many years of a Distribution Channel approach within Ireland the Medical Franchise is now venturing on a strategic approach to accelerate our Market Share via a Direct Sales Strategy within both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.  Responsible for a high value, national business segment the successful applicant will report directly to the Emergency Care Regional Sales Manager and be responsible for the continued Sales and Growth success of the Emergency Care business within Ireland. 

Responsibilities:

  • Exceed & deliver quarterly, yearly Ireland Emergency Care business budget for Ireland; managing Capital and Recurring Revenue Pipeline Development alongside accurate Forecasting vs. Budget reporting directly into the Regional Sales Manager. 
  • Support and collaborate with Enabling Functional teams such as Contracts & Pricing, Compliance, Customer Service Teams, Accounting Teams to ensure smooth Order to Cash process is maintained and our customers receive the highest levels of service.
  • Build strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders within the Emergency Care Government and Private Medical sectors; including; Clinical Directors within our Irish Ambulance Services, Advanced Paramedics and Practitioners, Fleet and Operation Managers, Procurement and Finance Leaders.  
  • Build Clinical Champions to support driving forward both current and future technology platforms across the entire portfolio.
  • Ensure solid relationships are maintained with our National Framework Partners including Health Service Executive Ireland.  
  • Understand / Utilize Market Dynamics to support Business Acceleration. 
  • Take a creative approach to New Business Development for both current and future technologies and platforms. 

Experience (Desirable)  

  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Proven success within the Medical Device Arena
  • Degree in Business, Life-science, Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering or another relevant, advanced degree
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and preferable knowledge of CRM System
  • Presentation skills with modern presentation media
